You know what really gets to me, and I’m sure many know this, is the blatant abuse and betrayal that white photogs display in POC countries. Every time a photo has gotten famous like this photo did in history, the actual focus of the photo is left behind in the dust while the white photog is hailed as a hero for displaying the ills of that country. He didn’t even fucking ask her name. He didn’t ask for 17 years. The world knew nothing about her life and her story. He captured one moment that made him famous and she got nothing.
Every time I see this photo, I seethe.

Did you know: Chris Evans gets panic attacks. Yes, he does. This is one reason why he’s very private and didn’t really do any meet-and-greets on the Avengers’ sets.

It amazes and inspired me that a man who does what he does can do it, even with an anxiety disorder. You go, Chris.

This is why I get so upset when I hear negative comments about Chris and how he doesn’t seem as out-going as the rest of the Avengers cast. I remember hearing people complain about how he’s ‘rude’ and the like and it’s sad, because I highly doubt he intends to come off that way, he’s just more reserved than the others.

I remember hearing once that he actually went to seek psychiatric help before accepting the role of Captain America because of how anxious he felt regarding it. As well as the fact that he already played another Marvel superhero and he was concerned how comic fans would react to his playing another hero in that universe.

Just because someone’s in the entertainment industry doesn’t mean they’re going to be incredibly outgoing off camera just as much as they appear to be on camera. Some people just really enjoy acting; they’re not the characters they portray nor are they like their costars nor are they going to be incredibly outgoing because of their choice of career.

Now I’m really starting to root for this guy. Because, well. I kind of get the point more accurately than I wish I did.

I am legitimately crying. I look up to him so goddamned much. He’s my hero. I’ve always said that I love Iron Man because he has an anxiety disorder, but Captain America, my baby, has anxiety. I don’t have words to describe how I feel, other than saying that I don’t feel so lonely anymore.

Ferguson Police have dogs and shotguns. The unarmed crowd is raising their hands.

For anyone not following the Mike Brown story on Twitter: a 17 year old black boy named Mike Brown, who was supposed to start college tomorrow, was shot to death in Ferguson, Missouri by police while jaywalking. He was unarmed. He was shot 9 times.

Initial media reports claimed that an 18 year old black man had been shot and killed while fleeing police after shoplifting.

People in the neighborhood, including members of Mike Brown’s family, came out of their homes and began to protest, shouting “no justice, no peace,” and keeping their hands in the air.

Media reports claimed that a violent mob quickly formed around the shooting location shouting “kill the police.”

Spread this. Tell the truth about what happened to this boy. Tell the truth about what is happening NOW. The police and the mainstream media is painting him as a criminal, and his community as a violent mob.

SPREAD THIS. Don’t let them lie.

This is HUGE news and no one is talking about it. The Lancet, the world’s oldest and most prestigious medical journal, recently published a report classifying Fluoride as a dangerous neurotoxin. The report puts Fluoride in the same category Arsenic, Lead, and Mercury. We are literally being mass medicated with a dangerous chemical that disrupts the health of our brains, especially in children. Many of us have suspected this for a long time, but it is insane to see the worlds top medical journal confirming it. Don’t believe what I have written here. Read the report for yourself and share with everyone you know. http://download.thelancet.com/pdfs/journals/laneur/PIIS1474442213702783.pdf?id=baak8dkBlaiXPhJTjuTsu CNN have disclosed the same: http://edition.cnn.com/2014/02/14/health/chemicals-children-brains/ And Harvard have recently published a study proving that fluoride lowers IQ in children: http://themindunleashed.org/2014/02/harvard-study-confirms-fluoride-reduces-childrens-iq.html Is it now time to start making or buying natural, non fluoride toothpaste? Here are some recipes to choose from, however please research, as there are thousands of ways to achieve excellent oral hygiene, without the use of toxic chemicals: http://naturalhealthwarriors.com/squeezable-homemade-toothpaste/

A great addition to your garden or back yard. - Bee watering station.
Bees need water just like we do but often times drown in open water. To make a bee watering station you can either do what is shown in the photo above and fill the bowl of a dog/cat watering jug with stones or you can fill a small dish with marbles and add water to that. That way the bees have something to land on!

KELLI

YES. I need to start a bee sanctuary.

This  is a cool idea!

Definitely a great idea to have a constant-feed waterer!! Fill it with stones/small rocks/marbles, even packing peanuts - just give them enough of an island to land on and stay dry so they can get a sip. :)
